The Aquarius Singers is a ladies' choir, which was formed in 1999 by Gill Garside, the music director. They've performed many major works including Fauré's Requiem, Vivaldi's Gloria, Schubert's Mass in G, Purcell's Dido and Aeneas and Stainer's Crucifixion. However, their repertoire encompasses folksong arrangements, songs from the shows, sacred and secular songs and most recently Karl Jenkins' Adiemus. Whilst singing for pleasure the choir has raised thousands of pounds for local churches and charities both in Bury St Edmunds and further afield.
