Ickworth Church and churchyard make a first-class location for film and television productions.
Film and TV
Ickworth Church is an ideal choice because of its proximity to London (90 minutes by car), its quiet, rural situation in the grounds of Ickworth Estate, its historic interest as the Hervey family church, and the possibility of a shoot and stay option, linking with the Ickworth Hotel nearby.
Ickworth Church is no longer used for regular services and so offers film companies great flexibility with regard to shooting hours and usage.
Photographic shoots
The church also makes a dramatic backdrop for fashion, brand, magazine, newspaper and other commercial shoots.

We normally require two weeks' notice for filming and location requests. You will also need to provide us with your public liability insurance documents (minimum £5m for film and TV) and undertake to make any relevant risk assessments.
